YOU GUYS LEE HAS A NEW TV SHOW!!!
It was announced today that Lee has been cast as a series regular in a TV adaptation of "The Purge" movie franchise, a new show which will air on the USA Network and Syfy cable channels!!!
The movie franchise/TV series revolves around the concept of an annual government-sanctioned 12 hour period where all criminal activity is legal, leading to much death, destruction, and general mayhem (hence, the Purge). The story at Deadline says:
"Tergesen is Joe, an armored, masked, and seemingly ordinary man who drives through town, intervening acts of Purge violence while listening to the taped lectures of a motivational life coach."
Lee does the "seemingly ordinary man" thing once again! And we all know how that usually goes! LOL
According to the information posted on IMDB and at the Screenrant website, the show began filming this month in New Orleans. There will be 10 episodes, which are currently scheduled to begin airing in late 2018.
IM SO EXCITED FOR LEE
(P.S. Ugh.... I'd forgotten that for some dumb reason LJ has banned links to Deadline because it considers the site to be spam, which, whatever LJ. If you want to read about the annoncement, just Google Lee's name, and the link will pop right up.)
