As a newbie to the Oz fandom, I've been digging through a lot of material lately, reading old interviews and such. Last night, I read a transcript of an old chat Lee did back in August 1997 that included the following exchange:

horsehead_in_the_bed asks, "What would you like to do that you haven't done yet?"

leetergesen says, "I'd like to have a child."

HSHost asks, "Don't let them watch Oz."

leetergesen says, "Till they're 35?"

HSHost says, "That's the age parents always threaten with."

leetergesen asks, "Isn't that the age where you can be president?"

When I read that, I just felt that it increased the "Aw" factor even more, since it seems he has wanted a family for a very long time, and now it's finally happening. :)

And I had to include the last bit there, because I was impressed that Lee remembered the lessons from his high school Government class, LOL.
