Lee good news / bad news.
May. 25th, 2016 03:49 pmFirst, the GOOD NEWS. :)
The trailer for the indie film "Equity" came out a few days ago, and Lee is in it, acting snide but looking great. The film is scheduled to open on July 29 in New York and Los Angeles.
The trailer:
Some LeeCaps:

Random thoughts & observations:
(1) Pinstripes really suit him. (HA--no pun intended!)
(2) I wonder if he built that Jenga tower himself?
(3) He's really got that whole pout thing going on here.
(4) People who prefer crew-cut Toby from Season 6 are insane. (Oh c'mon, you knew I was going to say something about it!)
Now, the BAD NEWS. :(
As I've posted before, Lee's supposed to be in the first episode of Cinemax's new show "Outcast." A couple of weeks ago, they released a trailer with him in it. However, a few days ago, Cinemax uploaded the entire first episode to YouTube (presumably to drum up interest), and Lee is nowhere to be seen, nor is he listed in the credits. So I thought, maybe his scenes had just been pushed to a subsequent episode? But then I checked Lee's IMDB page and discovered that the show is no longer listed there. The credits for all ten Outcast episodes have been posted, and he's not in any of them. Soooo, it's beginning to look like his scenes might've been cut. Which sucks, obviously.

I was gonna watch that, but not now.
I prefer him with curls.

Date: 2016-05-27 09:38 pm (UTC)Equity seems to have quite a bit of buzz. I wasn't sure how big Lee's role was, but the fact that he's in the trailer for a bit is a good sign. And of course, I LIKE the swishy hair! He can swish it my way anytime. :D

Date: 2016-05-27 09:47 pm (UTC)I'll watch Lee in anything (and I have sat through a few *lackluster* outings, shall we say), so it's always a great bonus when the work is worthy of his talents.

I will now fanwank that she left to do a movie with Lee.
Hmm..she does look different.
Just saw Rupert Everett in Musketeers..youch. His face is odd now, no doubt thanks to surgery and some natural aging-but it suits the villain he plays, who's kinda twisted and odd.

I understand the unfortunate need for cosmetic procedures if an actor still wants to get work, but I hate it when the person is no longer recognizable as the actor you once knew. Renee Zellweger comes to mind.
