Lee on "Outcast" this Friday!

Lee's episode of "Outcast" is still happening after all! It will air this Friday (June 17) at 10:00 pm ET on Cinemax. Here is the new promo for the episode, with Lee acting eerily similar to The Joker (whether it's the Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger version is up for discussion):

ALSO, CBS aired a commerical for "Equity" last night during the Tony Awards! It was a shortened version of the offical trailer that I posted HERE, so no new footage. BUT, it indicated at the end that not only would it open July 29 in NYC and LA, but also "everywhere" on August 26. This (and the fact that Sony Pictures Classics was willing to shell out the money to promote it during the Tonys) implies that the movie will be getting more than just the limited-release/direct-to-video/on-demand routine. Which is encouraging to those who actually might want to watch a movie with Lee, unlike, say, Desert Cathedral, which just basically disappeared.

How cute is Lee in the first picture? He seems so sweet and sad (and totally crazy I think, if I've read the plot of Outcast right).

Sweet, cute, and crazy, just like Toby! Actually, I used the phrase "adorably psychotic" on Twitter, and I think it fits him perfectly here. :-)

And once again, Lee is a crazy bad-guy nutbag. Don't get me wrong, he's damn good at it, but I wish casting directors would let him do something different once in a while. The boy needs to do more comedy, stat.

I know that he's said that these are the kinds of roles he's drawn to, but yeah. Some variety would be nice.

Although, there was Tooken! Which, I SWEAR, was significantly better than I thought it was going to be. (Granted, my expectations were pretty low to start with, but still...)
